Use case

What Hangeul is for

Hangeul is for learners who want a straightforward path from zero knowledge toward A2-level Korean, starting with consonants and vowels and continuing into guided lessons, flashcards, vocabulary, and review. It is meant to augment existing language resources, not replace every other app, class, or study method.

  • Start with consonants, vowels, and guided reading lessons.
  • Tap cards to hear pronunciation audio.
  • Browse vocabulary, grammar, and common phrase decks.
  • Use review, search, and index views to revisit material later.
  • Use it as a calmer, more direct companion when other learning styles are a better fit than game systems or constant immersion.

Version 1

Current product approach

The current version is designed to protect privacy while keeping the study workflow straightforward and local. The goal is not to build another AI-heavy, gamified immersion app. Those tools have their place, but many learners benefit from a calmer and more direct way to study too.

  • Hangeul does not collect personal data.
  • Planned as a single-purchase app.
  • No subscription and no hidden paid unlocks.
  • No account is required.
  • No third-party analytics are planned for version 1.
  • Pronunciation, review tools, and search are designed to work locally for normal use.
  • Support is available by email through the Jintus Labs support page.
