Release order
Follow the original three films, then Fury Road and Furiosa. That order preserves the series’ shift from raw road thriller to vast visual storytelling.
At the edge of the road
Five films.
One wild road.
Mad Max begins with a collapsing society, then becomes a mythic journey through the wasteland. The later Fury Road and Furiosa films share a world but treat the old timeline loosely, so the atmosphere matters more than a precise calendar.

Story order
Furiosa’s main story precedes Fury Road, though it ends near the later film. The original trilogy follows its release order. We keep the Fury Road era as a separate loose-continuity group rather than forcing exact ages and dates to agree.
