We separate the original-era films, the prequel/revised-history arc, and loosely connected spinoffs. Days of Future Past bridges timelines and belongs after the original-era films for a first watch even though it appears with the prequel arc here. Logan and The New Mutants are grouped as later side stories; Deadpool has its own sequence.
